DOMOTOP DS is a waterproofing cement slurry, ready for use. It complies with EN 1504-2.

USE

• Waterproofing of water-tanks and wastewater treatment tanks.

INSTRUCTIONS

Preparation: Clean well and remove any loose pieces, dust, formwork’s oil and grease from surface. All leaks shall be properly sealed in advance with DOMORAPID (see instructions). Corners should be rounded with DOMOREP or cement mortar with DOMOPLAST (see instruction manual). Remove plaster finishes where appropriate up to 50 cm above water level and carefully seal joints using DOMOPLAST. The substrates should be wetted without standing water.

Mixing: Add 25 kg (bag) DOMOTOP DS into a container of 5-6 kg of water, under continuous stirring. The use of a 600 - 800 rpm mixer is recommended. Mix until full homogenization (3 to 4 minutes).

Application: Wet substrate when absorbing, apply first layer. After sufficient hardening (2 to 6 hours according to temperature) apply second layer. Application can be made using a wide brush. Two layers are usually needed. Finish with sponge. Always apply on wet substrate. Minimum temperature 5°C. Cleaning with water before the hardening of the material.

USEFUL DATA

Packaging: Bags of 25 kg, 5 kg.

Shelf life: At least 6 months at a dry spot.

Consumption: From 2 to 5 kg/m² according to need. Usually 3 kg are enough.
