CHEM WATERPROOF is a liquid waterproofing admixture ready for use. It complies with EN 934-2 Table 9.

USE

CHEM WATERPROOF is an adequate and safe admixture for high quality waterproof concrete and satisfactory workability. It is suitable for underwater concrete and concrete exposed to changes in weather and freezing conditions.

ADVANTAGES

When CHEM WATERPROOF is used in concrete it offers the following properties:

• increased impermeability,
• increased frost resistance,
• improved workability (decrease of mixing water amount),
• enhanced strength for same workability,
• regular setting time.

NSTRUCTIONS

CHEM WATERPROOF can be added either to the mixing water or directly to the concrete. The usual dosage is 0.5% on cement weight. The dosage can change according to adequate suitable trials.

USEFUL DATA

In order to achieve the best possible final result, the use of CHEM WATERPROOF has to be accompanied by the following factors:

• tight shuttering,
• impermeability of construction (no cracks, joints, etc.),
• correct sieve analysis, with enough fine material,
• adequate cement quantity,
• proper mixing, compacting and curing of the concrete.

Shelf life: At least 6 months in the original sealed containers at a cool spot. If frozen, it can be defrosted at low temperature (30°C) under continuous stirring and used without problem.
