KRISTALION ADMIX P is a water resisting admixture in powdered form. It reacts chemically
with the products of the cement hydration creating crystals, that block the pores of
hardened concrete and reduce the permeability of concrete. It complies with EN 934-2
table 9.

USE

KRISTALION ADMIX P is used in foundations, canal construction, sewage works, tunnels,
ports and hydraulic works, retaining walls, power stations, underground walls, water tanks
etc.

ADVANTAGES

• It improves watertightness of concrete through crystals that are formed inside the
pores.
• It enhances the resistance of concrete against carbonation and chemical attack
(chlorides, sulfates, etc.).
• It induces to concrete better resistance to frost and to thawing salts.
• It doesn't contain chloride,
• It doesn't contain VOC.

INSTRUCTIONS

KRISTALION ADMIX P should be added together with aggregates to the mixer, or in the truck
mixer at the job site, in the form of free-flowing mortar.

Mixing time should be increased at least 50%, to achieve the optimum dispersion of the
material in the concrete mix.

Remarks: It is recommended to reduce the total water in the mix, during applying the material
as free-flowing mortar.

It is recommended to perform initial tests for the desired water permeability and consistency
of the concrete mix.

Dosage: For normal conditions from 0.7 to 2.0% on cement weight.

USEFUL DATA

Packaging: Bags of 20 and 25 kg.

Shelf life: At least 6 months in the original sealed bags at a dry and cool spot.
