USE

CHEMIUM 164 is an ideal admixture for precast and prestressed concrete, achieving very high early and final strength and high concrete density. It offers minimum setting time, while it can be re-added if the concrete is becoming stiff. It gives high plasticity to normal concrete without adversely affecting the consistency.

INSTRUCTIONS

CHEMIUM 164 is added to the mixer of the plant or locally at the job site. The duration of its effect is up to 1 hour at 20°C.

Dosage: For normal conditions from 0.3 to 0.5% on cement weight. It can be raised up to 3% on cement weight or more according to need, without side effects, after suitable trials. The dosage depends on the temperature, the quantity and quality of cement and aggregates, the W/C ratio, etc.

USEFUL DATA

Packaging: IBCs of 1000 kg, drums of 220 kg, containers of 20 kg.

Shelf life: At least 6 months in the original sealed containers at a cool spot.

CHEMIUM 164 is compatible with the range of admixtures offered by our company, except the SPL range.
