USE

CHEM PROOF is a reliable high-performance admixture for waterproof concrete with high strength and better workability. It is recommended for difficult concrete constructions with dense reinforcement, underwater constructions, or concrete constructions exposed to atmospheric conditions and frost. Due to the limited air entrainment, it is suitable for pumped concrete.

CHEM PROOF is used in foundations, canal construction, sewage works, ports and hydraulic works, retaining walls, power stations, underground walls, water tanks etc.

ADVANTAGES

It is non-flammable and non-toxic, does not contain chlorides and does not affect the reinforcing or other or other building materials.

When CHEM PROOF, is used in concrete it offers the following properties:

• increased watertightness and frost resistance,
• increased workability. (possibility of reducing of the mixing water amount),
• increased strength, workability held constant,
• unchanged setting time when used in proper dosage.

INSTRUCTIONS

CHEM PROOF is ready for use. The usual dosage is 0.4% on cement weight. CHEM PROOF is added to the mixing water or directly to the concrete. During the use the temperature has to be over 0°C.

The following points are important:

• watertightness of the whole construction (cracks, joints and especially formwork),
• suitable aggregates grading, especially high rates of very fine fractions,
• adequate cement content,
• proper mixing, placing, vibration and curing of concrete

USEFUL DATA

Packaging: IBCs of 1100 kg, drums of 220 kg, containers of 20 kg.

Shelf life: At least 6 months in the original sealed containers at a cool spot. If frozen, it can be defrosted at low temperature (30°C) under continuous stirring and used without problem.
